Academic Information Management (AIM) 

Academic Information Management establishes the principles and oversees the implementation of degree audits for L&S academic programs and uses the degree audit (DARS) to authorize L&S students to receive their degree and major awards. AIM consults with academic departments and programs, University and College governance, and campus partners (e.g., Admissions, Registrar) to ensure that program requirements published in Guide are accurately reflected in DARS. AIM reviews and approves new and altered degree audit encoding for L&S programs prior to its release to advisors and students. Contact AIM with questions about L&S DARS audits, exceptions processes, degree progress/completion, or for data about student outcomes in L&S degrees.

Teaching, Learning and Academic Planning Team

The academic planning team assists department/unit faculty and staff with the following: 

  • Editing and creating new courses
  • Making changes to programs (majors, certificates, graduate programs)
  • Creating new programs
  • Suspending and discontinuing programs
  • All graduate program Guide pages, including nongoverned content.
